A By Bonnie fan-favorite Chloe upgrade, now with a new cushion twist—and your opinion needed!

How to Style a Cushion Cut Diamond Ring with Different Wedding Bands

Welcome back, diamond lovers! This is Bonnie with By Bonnie Jewelry, where I talk all things diamonds and craftsmanship—and today, I need your help.

Normally, I’m the one making the recommendations, but I just finished the most stunning, ultra-unique cushion cut engagement ring, and now I’m torn. I need your vote on which wedding band pairs best with it.

This beauty is a new take on our Chloe Collection, featuring an elongated cushion-cut center stone flanked by gorgeous emerald cuts on the side, complete with a hidden halo for that extra sparkle. It’s a dreamy anniversary upgrade for a couple who’s been married for a long time—her original ring was lost while traveling, so we decided to go bigger and bolder. And now comes the fun part: styling the band.

Let’s break down the contenders!

Wedding Band #1: Emerald on Emerald

If you’re into symmetry and a matchy-matchy moment, this one’s for you.

The center ring has emerald cuts on the side, so why not pair it with an emerald eternity band? The lines are clean, the sparkle is crisp—definitely a timeless duo.

Wedding Band #2: Cushion on Cushion (The Victoria Band)

This one’s for the cushion lovers. You get cushion cut diamonds in the band, cushion in the center, and the result is pure harmony. The best part?

It sits flush against the engagement ring—designed that way on purpose. If you’re all about cohesive sparkle, this might be your vote.

Wedding Band #3: Round Diamonds (The Triple Shape Look)

We’re mixing it up now—cushion center, emerald sides, and a round diamond band. Too much? Or just right?

I personally love how the exposed U-gallery design lets the rounds pop from every angle. This one adds serious bling factor, but still feels effortless.

Wedding Band #4: East-West Emerald

Sleek, modern, and just a little unexpected. The east-west setting adds movement and makes the emerald cuts feel extra chic.

This one might not be for everyone, but if you love a twist on tradition, this is your girl.

So... What’s Your Vote?

Wedding Band 1, 2, 3, or 4? Or would you style this ring solo or pair it with a simple plain band? I need your input!

Also, quick bonus: If you’re loving cushion cuts, but don’t know where to start, I’ve got you. There are so many styles—brilliant, crushed ice, hybrid, square, elongated—you name it.

Thanks for being part of this fun process. This ring is so close to perfect... just missing the perfect band.
