How many languages do you speak? 

Oh, fun question! So, I actually speak three languages fluently: Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. I'm originally from Hong Kong, but my household is a bit of a melting pot. My husband is French and Armenian, so there's a mix of languages flying around our home. It's a bit chaotic, but we love it!

Now, onto the next question: What made me get into... Well, hold on. Should I say something in those languages first before I move on?

 And maybe something in my husband’s language…

What Made You Get Into Jewelry or Be A Gemologist?

Ah, reminiscing about those childhood days! My dad, a watchmaker, was my earliest inspiration. I'd spend hours watching him tinker with the delicate movements inside watches. It was like magic!

As I grew up, my dad, being the typical Asian parent, had his own plans for my future. But instead of pushing me into medicine or law, he surprised me by suggesting I study diamonds. Can you imagine?

So, taking his advice, I immersed myself in the world of gemology, and the rest is history! Eventually, I found myself in America, embarking on my own sparkling journey in the world of jewelry. But hey, that's a story for another time! Thanks, Dad, for steering me toward the dazzling world of diamonds!

What Is Your Dream Diamond?

Haha, I think I repeat this in every video! My ten-year anniversary diamond is definitely in the works. But you know what my ultimate dream is? 

The grandest emerald-cut diamond I can possibly slip onto my finger. We're talking 20, 25, heck, maybe even 30 carats! Ten years, ten carats; twenty years, twenty carats. Gotta keep those goals in sight, right?

Who Is Your Favorite Influencer? 

Oh, it has to be Heart Evangelista! She's the epitome of luxury, isn't she? Everything about her exudes elegance, from her stunning beauty to her impeccable taste in jewelry. 

Anybody You Would Like To Work With or Make a Piece For? 

Absolutely Heart Evangelista without a doubt! When I see her, I just... I'm drawn to her aesthetic. It's like she speaks the language of diamonds, just like I do.

What Does Your Husband Do? 

Ah, yes, that's a question that pops up a lot! It's like the second most searched thing after me! My husband is actually in the same glittering industry as I am, but he's got a knack for numbers. It's like we're the perfect duo—he handles the digits, I handle the diamonds. We're like yin and yang, you know? 

And beyond that, he's my rock. He supports me as a working mom in ways I can't even begin to describe. So, if you're watching this, honey, you're the best! Your logic and love mean the world to me.

What Does It Take To Be A Working Mother? 

Being a working mother? Oh, it's a whole adventure! It's not just about your own effort—it's about having that perfect partner by your side to help balance out all the different parts of life. So, big thanks to my hubby for being that amazing support system!

What Would You Do If You Weren't A Jeweler? 

You know, I've actually gone back and forth with this question quite a bit: What would I be if I wasn't a jeweler? And honestly, I think I could tackle a variety of roles. But if I had to pick one, it would be something that revolves around children. I've always had this deep passion for nurturing young minds and being a guiding light in their lives.

There's something so magical about interacting with kids—they're like little sponges, ready to soak up all the knowledge and love you can give them. In today's fast-paced digital world, I feel like they need that extra guidance and mentorship. So, if I weren't crafting stunning jewelry pieces, I'd love to spend my days focused on being a mother.

Imagine cooking, bathing, and just spending quality time with my little one without any distractions. It's a dream I hold close to my heart. And beyond that, I'd want to dedicate my time to helping shape the youth of tomorrow, whether it's through education, mentorship, or any other means. After all, investing in our future generation is one of the most meaningful contributions we can make.
