Hey there, lovely people! It's Bonnie from By Bonnie Jewelry, your go-to gal for all things diamonds! Did you decide to read this blog because of the title? Can you just imagine having a 10 carat diamond ring that’s all yours?

Now, can we just take a moment to admire a ring this huge? It's an absolute dream - a dream I’ve had for a long time because this ring, cue dramatic pause... it's not actually mine. Gasp! My hubby decided to play a little prank on me earlier this year.

He sent over a ten-carat diamond and said, "Ten years, ten carats, I love you." Sneaky, huh? Don't worry friends, I'm just as surprised as you are! But hey, I couldn't resist creating something equally fabulous for one of my amazing clients.

So if you clicked on this blog because you wanted to see my 10 carat diamond ring, you’ll see a big ring, just not MY ring! Now, how much does one of these fantastic rings cost?

It’s Worth How Much?!

Well, get ready for the big reveal! Drumroll please… I'd say it's somewhere in the ballpark of $500,000 to maybe even $900,000, depending on the exact color and clarity. Yep, that's the price tag for something as dazzling and colorless as this beauty.

But hey, if you're on the lookout for a more budget-friendly option, we've got you covered with our stunning lab-grown diamonds. They come in at a much lower price point, in the five-digit range. And we have shapes of all sorts - pear, halos, 3-stone rings, all of the gorgeousness.

Oval Ring Backstory

Now, this particular client had seen a pear shaped 4.2 ct diamond that I had made in the past and she fell absolutely in love with that particular ring style. She actually told her boyfriend that she loved that ring and that she had found the ring of her dreams - just a quick tweak, she wanted it in an oval shape! So let’s take a look at the star of today’s blog - this stunning 8ct oval diamond ring.

I've told you guys before about the importance of ratio in every single diamond because length and width is what's going to determine how your oval is going to look on your finger.

Pairing This Beautiful Ring

Now, what would a By Bonnie engagement ring be without pairing it with a wedding band? With this particular ring, we decided to pair it with a 10ct emerald cut diamond band.

And this client of mine actually made that specific note, that she loved this ring of mine and wanted to pretty much combine the look. With these two rings paired together, we’re definitely having one of those moments where we're like, "Darling, I don't need to see my knuckle anymore!"

Now, let's talk about this beauty. The royal pavé with a 2.4mm width? Pure perfection! And guess what? It's inspired by a previous ring we did. Talk about a regal upgrade, right?

So, here's the deal. This isn't exactly what you envision when you're dreaming of your perfect ring, right? But hey, chunky is in, especially here at By Bonnie! You can totally rock this look, especially paired with a delicate band to balance out that stunning stone. Trust me, you'll need a sturdy base to support that bling!

Curation & Craftsmanship: Only At By Bonnie

Now, let's talk about this design. See how the metal gently hugs the diamond?

It's like a little love nest for your finger! But let's get real for a sec. When it comes to choosing a ring this big, you can't just click "Add to Cart" and call it a day. That's a recipe for disaster, my friends! People often get caught up in the dazzle of the diamond and forget about the craftsmanship. But let me tell you, good craftsmanship is key, especially with those elongated shapes. It helps minimize that pesky bow tie effect, trust me!

I'm absolutely smitten with this ring. Even so, when it comes to a ring for my 10 year anniversary with my husband, I'm really still eyeing round diamonds for that classic touch. My goal? A different fancy shape every five years. Talk about ring goals, right? And for those of you who thought this was my big upgrade, hold onto your hats, because I've got something even better up my sleeve! Honey, you better be ready to impress!

So, what do you think? Are you loving the oval?
